Description: Participants will each learn by ear the five instrumental parts to agbadza.  Participants will receive some recordings prior to the workshop, so that they may use those to play along during class and practice after class. In addition to learning the instrumental parts of the piece, participants will also learn one or two agbadza song.

9:30am-12:00pm, continuing 1:00-3:30 CST (Central Standard Time)

Maximum Participants: 10

Participant Materials: Gankogui, pair of sticks, shekere, two stick drums (one high, one low), separate audio system for listening to recordings
